Christmas Breakfast

Christmas breakfast was brought by someone from the Bridge Bible church. The Bridge has always been there for my family ever since we started going there. I’m really happy that God brought us out here to make Life Journey. I even happier that God told us that Life Journey changed and to find a different church. If he didn’t then I would never have met half of my friends, except the people that go to the Bridge but did or do or still go to my school. But if I didn’t go to the Bridge I wouldn’t be like one big family with them like I am now.

Back to the breakfast. To the people that brought it and to the people that thought of the idea we thank you sooooooooo much! I just wanted to give a shout out to everyone who has helped us at all! We totally appreciate it and wish that we knew who some of you guys were so we could give you thank you cards and possibly a small gift! Well thank you to everyone!

Axis and Church

Yesterday I didn’t have enough time to blog this, but I’m blogging it now. Yesterday when I got back from school my mom told me that my dad found this thing for me on the porch from the people at Axis (church youth group). It was this devotion book that I needed to buy from them that costs $14! You see I needed this book for small groups that are starting on Wednesday. Inside on the front cover was this message, “Keona, we love you! This is just a small gift from the Bridge. Love, Axis”

This might seem simple to you guys and really cheap, but my family couldn’t afford it so I would have to my for it with some money that I’m saving for a new cell phone. This is such a HUGE blessing for me! THANK YOU AXIS AND THE BRIDGE! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST THING THAT HAS HEPPENED TO ME!!!!!!!!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!!! Well I got to go. I’ll blog later, so please keep reading.

If You Trust Him

I’ve learned a valuable lesson. Even if things are going tough still trust and believe in God! I have learned this personally.

I wear glasses and I really want contacts. I e-mail a couple of people yesterday and asked if they knew anyone that needs a babysitter to please tell me by a phone call or an e-mail. I then got an e-mail by my biggest costumer. It said, “Hey girl! Please call me right away or have your mom call me! You are about to be Blessed!! Our home number is ###-####.” Then once i got this e-mail I called her. She wanted to talk on the phone with my mother. They talked about thirty minutes long.

When my mom got off the phone she was filled with joy. She told me that if my family could raise money for the eye exam and a teaching session on how to put in and take out contacts they person that she was talking about will buy as much as she can afford of contacts for me! I just have to give her my prescription! This is a HUGE MIRACLE! Then later when my mom and I were out looking for a pair of jean shorts for me I saw I got a voice message. The message was from one of my pastor. He wanted to know if I could babysit from about 5:30pm-8:30pm.

I ended up babysitting them. They were so cool! Those kids were nice to each other and didn’t get in a fight and cry about it! Most of the kids I babysit fight a lot together. I ended up getting $25 dollars which is $7 an hour! I feel so blessed! I almost have enough money for my contacts. We are also going to use the check my nana and papa are sending me for clothes on the contacts because I have enough clothes even though they aren’t new. Yesterday was the biggest blessing I have had for myself ever since my mom got her second type of cancer!

( I don’t want to say any names or have any phone numbers in here for safety of these people.)

My Dad’s Gift Box

My dad got a gift box from my church’s band members! It came with gift cards to Starbucks Coffee, Chilis, a Visa, Ablertsons and an Edwards Cinemas. I think it also came with muffins! The muffins were good! I had one for breakfast! My mom also has the gift cards planned out.

One day when my mom is asleep my dad will take us out to a movie and then to Chilis. My mom also said that my dad can use the Starbucks Coffee card whenever. The visa one I don’t know what they’re doing with it. The Albertsons one is when we need things from there.

My mom is on top of things even though to day was her first chemo. O yeah I forgot to write about that. Today is my mom’s first chemo. She has been gone since 8am. I’ve been checking up on her and she is fine. She’s a fighter! Okay well I better do my chores now! Bye-a!

A God Thing

God said in the Bible that the desires of your heart will sometimes be accomplished.

I was just telling my mom a few days ago that I would LOVE to go to a resturant. The next thing you know, today we got an envelope to the resturant BJ’S! God heard my desire and accomplished it! My family has decided to go to BJ’S Monday night at 5pm for dinner! Thank you our Secret “Angels”
