Dear Keona- Remind me again, what was your princess name from Hume Lake? Can you believe that was over a year ago now? On July 7th, we celebrated our one year anniversary in Wisconsin. One year- WOW!

Keona, you are a terrific writer! Keep it up, keep it up! Share your heart with the world, don’t keep it inside you. I’m not going to say that your situation is the same as Kieran’s because it’s totally not, but Kieran Baher (aka- Mr. Baher) lost his mom to stomach cancer his senior year in high school. Cancer diagnosis & treatments have come a LONG was since the late 1980s…HONEST! I share because Mr. Baher learned years & years later that he didn’t share how he was feeling at the time. It took what I call a BIG PILLOW FIGHT WITH GOD to show him that it’s ok to be angry, sad, etc. and that God is ALWAYS there!

Keona, your family is so-so special to me! I wish we weren’t so far away. I’d love to see you in this weekend’s performance! I’m so very proud of you & the young woman that you’re becoming. I’m going to love watching you grow up & hearing from you for years to come. The Lord will use your gifts & talents, I just know He will.

Thank you so much for being the “big helper” for your mom! While your mom rests, don’t forget to take care of yourself, though. Being a helper is going to be huge these next months. But, taking care of Keona is important, too. Your mom is a very Godly inspiration to me. You are, too! Walk close with Him. Share your heart with Him.

Thanks for having your dad start this blog. I LOVE hearing your heart.
